PLEASE NOTE – MAY 2024 UPDATE: We are undergoing some renovations inside our facility over the next couple of months, so all of our small mammals are currently in foster homes to keep them comfortable and away from any chemicals or fumes. They are still available for adoption. If your application is approved, we will then schedule a time for the small animal to return from foster and meet you at the shelter. That way if you think they’re a good fit for you, you can take them home that same day.

Questions? Please email Sarah at sarah@oahs.org. Thank you!

No adoption fee for small animals!

We do appreciate a “Paw it Forward” donation to help the next small animal that takes your new pet’s place.

OAHS invests an average of $250 into every animal available for adoption.

All rabbits at OAHS are RHDV2 vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and litter trained.

For rabbits only: we request a discounted reimbursement fee of $40 for the RHDV2 vaccine and $25 for the microchip at the time of adoption ($65 total).
