Where did you get this pet?

My daughter got 3 female mice from Petco and when we had them for a few weeks we realized that one of them looked like it was gaining weight. Well my daughter had done some research and stated that she thought she was pregnant. She ended up having 9 Babies

Things pet likes (toys, activities, food)

Climbing toys, Chewing Toy’s. Toys to keep busy

Things pet doesn’t like (loud noises, storms, car rides, being picked up, strangers)

A lot of light, more nocturnal animals so they are up at nighttime.

Positive qualities pet has (smart, house trained, friendly, loves people, likes being brushed)

They are social creatures so if you are able to take more than one it would be very helpful on the mice. The boys don’t generally get along together but when my daughter’s mice had babies, we only had space to separate them from boys and girls.

Reason for rehoming pet

My daughter only planned on having 3 mice and when we found out that one of her females was pregnant after we had gotten them. Then a few weeks after we had gotten them she ended up having babies and we had more than we could have. We have 4 girls available and 5 boys available. The girls are able to stay with each other because they are not as territorial as the males.

Kind of home pet needs

Enough space to accommodate more than 1 mouse. Bedding that doesn’t have a lot of dust because mice have weak immune systems.
