Things pet likes | He likes to be pet, go for walks, and run and play with people. He likes to chew on a bone. |
Things pet doesn’t like: | He doesn’t like to have someone touch his rear by surprise. If you are petting him and he’s aware, then he is fine. |
Positive qualities pet has: | Max is very smart and learns quickly. He is well kennel trained and goes inside easily and is content there. He is well house trained. He loves to be pet and be with people. His former owner was a Air Force Vet who used to put him inside a backpack and take him on a motorcycle ride. |
Reason for rehoming pet | Max’s caregiver passed away. He got him in Kansas and had him for 2 years. We have had him for 3 weeks. He really is a good dog and would make a great family pet. We would consider keeping him, but our cats are terrified of him. |
Kind of home pet needs | He would do well with a single person or couple. Max has done very well with my family, including my children, ages 10 years and up. I would not place him with cats. He did sleep with his owner, but since we’ve had him he sleeps just fine in his kennel. |
