There are lots of ways you can make a difference at OAHS. Whether you are interested in volunteering hands-on with the animals here at the shelter, our Pet Therapy program, or working with the public in our Outreach program, the first step in becoming a volunteer is to attend an orientation session. Additional training for cats, dogs or small mammals is required to work hands-on with the animals. There is no need to register for orientation; however we recommend you arrive early.
