Things pet likes: He loves to go outside and eat fresh grass in the warm months.
Things pet doesn't like: Larry doesn't like his legs touched. He will allow me to clip his nails but will nip if you run your finger down his front legs.
Positive qualities pet has: Larry loves attention! He will often squeal and beg to be picked up and held. He just wants to hang out on your lap while you're sitting down, and he'll become a "piggy pancake" when being petted.
Reason for rehoming pet: He is the only guinea pig and is often left alone, now that my kids are getting older. He's visibly sad to be left alone so much and I want him to have the opportunity to get more attention. He doesn't do well with other adult cavies but he may be fine with young ones as he needs to be dominate.
Kind of home pet needs: Protection from predators while outside. We can include a 2 x 3.5 foot open topped wire cage to be used for his living space or exercise run.
