Oshkosh Area Humane Society
A life saving shelter

Online Donation
ADOPTION ADVOCATES: Do you want to help homeless pets but are unable to adopt? Please consider becoming an Adoption Advocate for one of the many pets at OAHS waiting for homes. As an Adoption Advocate you provide the care and treatment for a particular pet available for adoption. Adoption Advocates provide funding for obedience classes, items the pet may benefit from having when they go home to their new home (example: scratching post or an easy walk harness) or for their daily care and well being. An Animal Advocate Paw Print is displayed along with the chosen pets ID card. Being an Adoption Advocate is another way to show how much you care about homeless pets.

Mission Statement

The Life Saving Mission of the Oshkosh Area Humane Society is to save the lives of animals in need by providing shelter and care for lost, unwanted or abandoned animals. We pledge that every adoptable animal will get the opportunity to find a loving home regardless of space and with no time limitations.
You can help: donate, foster, adopt.

Foster Families Needed

Every day, cats and kittens arrive at OAHS that we just don’t have enough room for.  OAHS is a life saving shelter, which means we will not euthanize due to the lack of space in the building.  This is where you can help.  By providing a temporary home, you give us the support we need until we find them a loving permanent home.
