Oshkosh Area Humane Society
A life saving shelter
Pet Therapy
This is your chance to bring a bit of joy and happiness into the lives of those in local nursing homes. You may take your dog, cat or other animal to a nursing home for regularly scheduled visitations. An evaluation of your animal is required.
Special Events, Outreach Events, Supply Drives
OAHS is involved with many local events. We are looking for friendly-outgoing-customer service oriented people to staff information booths, answer questions about the shelter; help out at Shelter Trek and other fundraisers. If you like interacting with the public, this might just be the perfect fit for you.
Canister Banks
OAHS depends on the generosity of others. Help maintain a donation bank at a local business. Maybe you can have one at your place of employment. Ask a local business to place a canister bank in their store and collect the donations from the bank once a month.

The Life Saving Mission of the Oshkosh Area Humane Society is to save the lives of animals in need by providing shelter and care for lost, unwanted or abandoned animals. We pledge that every adoptable animal will get the opportunity to find a loving home regardless of space and with no time limitations.
You can help: donate, foster, adopt.
Every day, cats and kittens arrive at OAHS that we just don’t have enough room for. OAHS is a life saving shelter, which means we will not euthanize due to the lack of space in the building. This is where you can help. By providing a temporary home, you give us the support we need until we find them a loving permanent home. Learn more.
