Downward Dog Days of Summer Saturday, August 21 9-10:15 am
Everyone knows the “dog days of summer” occur during the hottest and muggiest part of the season. During this time, Sirius, the "Dog Star", rises and sets with the sun. The ancients believed its heat added to the heat of the sun, creating a stretch of hot and sultry weather. They named this period of time, “dog days” after the dog star.
This class will take us out of this period of stagnation or inactivity by teaching you some fun new sequences and poses. No experience in yoga is necessary, just come out and play! Discover the joy yoga can bring to your life! COST by donation with proceeds to benefit the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
